Rorate Mass 2017

On Saturday, December 16, a Rorate Mass was offered at 7:00 AM. This is a beautiful custom whereby Mass is celebrated illuminated only by candlelight. The Mass is a Votive Mass of the Blessed Virgin, and so it is celebrated in white, rather than Advent violet. In the dimly lit setting, Fr. Saguto, FSSP, Fr. Stinson, FSSP, Fr. Insco, FSSP, and the faithful honored the Light of the World, Who is soon to be born, and offered praise to God for the gift of Our Lady. As the Mass proceeded and sunrise approached, the church became progressively brighter, illumined by the sun as our Faith is illumined by Christ.
