2024 Annual Catholic Appeal

One MISSION

One FAMILY,

TOGETHER in CHRIST

The Annual Catholic Appeal funds ministries and services for our local Catholic community across Western Washington. This combined effort of parishes and missions ensures the availability of outreach ministries, education, faith formation, administration services for parishes, and much more.

This year, our parish's ACA goal is $$50,455.

All contributions received in excess of our goal will come directly back to St. Joseph as a rebate. This year's rebate will go towards the renovation of the parking lot. Last year, 127 families participated from our parish. It is our hope that ALL of our parish families will participate this year. All donations, large and small, are greatly appreciated.

You can make a donation in one of three ways:

  1. Give by phone. Call your donation into the Annual Catholic Appeal Office at 800-809-4921.
  2. Give by mail. Send a check or money order payable to “Annual Catholic Appeal” to:
    Annual Catholic Appeal
    PO Box 14964

Matching gifts can double or even triple your personal gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal. Under a corporate matching gift program, your contribution to the Appeal is matched with your company's or corporate foundation's funds. Many companies also match gifts made by spouses of employees and those retired from the company. You might want to ask your employer about its specific requirements and ways to use its program.

New Parishioners

If you would like to register as a parishioner at St. Joseph, please fill out the printable form or a blue registration form from the vestibule.

Visitors

If you are a visitor to St. Joseph Catholic Church, we are happy to have you join us. All Masses at Saint Joseph are offered in the Tridentine Rite, in accordance with the liturgical books of 1962. Blue missalettes are available in the pews to help you follow along with the Latin Mass. The readings can be found in the bulletin available in the vestibule. Please visit "New to the Latin Mass" for some helpful tips.

Convert Instruction

RCIA is a specific catechetical program. The priests at St. Joseph offer individual convert instruction, instead of RCIA. In order to learn more about the Catholic Faith, please see the books below. For more information, please contact the parish office, 253-472-2489.

Choir Members Wanted

Sacred music has a very important place in the worship of the Church. Having beautiful sacred music can only be achieved through much dedication on the part of the choir. New members are always welcome. If interested or if you would like more information, please contact the parish office. Rehearsals take place in St. Joseph’s Hall (a.k.a. the basement).

Coffee Hour

Each week, following the Sung Mass, we have a Sunday social. If you plan on participating in the social, please consider bringing donuts, other pastries, finger foods, or drinks to share.

A Prayer for Priests

O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep Thy priests within the shelter of Thy Sacred Heart, where none may touch them. Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch Thy Sacred Body. Keep unsullied their lips, daily purpled with Thy Precious Blood. Keep pure and unworldly their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood. Let Thy Holy Love surround and shield them from the world's contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here and their everlasting crown hereafter.

O Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us; obtain for us many holy priests.

Amen.
